Founded in 1995, the Illinois Creditors Bar Association (ILCBA) is a statewide organization for attorneys practicing in the area of creditors rights. Our members concentrate in various areas including: commercial collections, consumer collections, foreclosures, evictions, subrogation and bankruptcy. With over 220 members, the ILCBA is the largest of its kind in the country.
The ILCBA provides members with opportunities to meet with one another to discuss pertinent issues in the practice of creditors law.
The Association has been instrumental in effecting the passage of legislation pertaining to our area of practice. Our members have testified before the Illinois General Assembly, and currently we are discussing which topics should be included in our legislative proposals for the next session in Springfield. Member ideas and suggestions are always welcome.
